Welcome to Correia Middle School!
The vision for our school is to develop productive and responsible students through collaboration with our staff, parents, and the community. We hope to reach this vision through the following:

We as parents, grandparents, teachers, and staff have a critical responsibility to educate our students at one of the most important periods of their lives. Through collaboration, our school community will assist our students in becoming responsible citizens who will have the tools to successfully reach their goals.

It takes parents, school staff and the community working together to give our students the best possible chance of higher achievement as well as a positive school experience. You may have heard that once students reach middle school age, parental involvement in school is no longer as important. This could not be further from reality. Although the ways in which you are involved may change, your children still need your involvement, and we need both your support and your feedback. There are ways that you can be involved while honoring your child's growing independence. Your involvement sends a strong, positive message to your children, and your feedback helps us understand what's working and what isn't, so that we can make any changes necessary. Please become involved, in whatever way works for you -- whether by simply talking with your children about their experiences and schoolwork, volunteering to help with an activity, or contacting us to provide feedback, perspectives and ideas.

On behalf of the administration, faculty, and staff, I would like to welcome you to Correia Middle School and encourage you to visit our school site.
