Welcome to the Correia Middle School Concert Band Webpage. Concert Band affords the student the opportunity to learn cooperation, responsibility and self-discipline through musical expression in a group activity. Concert band is Correia 's intermediate level designed for students with one or more years of music experience. In this class, students review a fundamental knowledge of instruments and music, and then study and perform music of all styles. Classical music is emphasized in the course of study as is show tunes, pop music, and jazz. Festivals, programs, concerts and tours are a part of the course and participation is expected.
